<br />Sisk offered a friendly amendment that "no strings attached" include but not be limited to the fact that <br />the City would not be under any obligation to pay any homeowner's dues or have any obligations to <br />the Homeowner's Association. <br /> <br />Howard and seconder Keany accepted that. All in favor. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF BID AWARD - SENIOR CENTER EXPANSION <br /> <br />Steve Baysinger, Parks & Recreation Director, reviewed the Senior Center expansion plans. <br /> <br />Davidson called for Council comments. <br /> <br />Howard wanted to make sure that the current electrical concerns were corrected in the expansion. <br /> <br />Keany was concerned about the difference in the bidding amounts from last year to this year for DAB. <br />He wanted to make sure that the City has a clear-cut definition of what the DAB's bid includes. <br /> <br />Baysinger agreed. <br /> <br />Sisk moved that Council award the design and construction to DAB for the expansion of the Senior <br />Center and allow staff to negotiate the contract not to exceed $96,039. Seconded by Keany. <br /> <br />Lathrop offered a friendly amendment that DAB affirm their bid prior to the signing of the contract, <br />particularly as it pertains to the dividing wall. <br /> <br />Sisk and seconder Keany accepted that. Roll call was taken. Motion passed by a 7 - 0 vote. <br /> <br />Baysinger gave an update on the progress at the Sports Complex. They had completed the outfield <br />fencing and 95% of the lighting.
