Committee Member 2 (continued): Coal Creek Golf Course
If a restaurant operation were to be developed with quality food and service and the capability to hold dinners,
events, etc. it would be supported by the community immediately as the golf course club house views are
exceptional and only exceeded by those unobstructed views from the top of the Mesa in Open Space.
Wild life frequently observed on the golf course include eagles, hawks, owls, coyotes, a rare fox and even
humans non golfers.
Economically it is a `sure thing if properly operated with caring staff engaged with the clients (golfers and non -
golfers) and a nrnnQr!v fumed and managed maintenance operation with adequate dollars reserved for
reinvestment into maintaining the large capital assets.
The community has demonstrated that they support the golf course property through the "Divots and Dining"
program and other volunteer events. It is therefore reasonable to expect that volunteers would gladly help with
other projects like flower planting and maintenance of small areas around tee boxes, placing benches
throughout the course at tee box locations, installation of drinking water throughout the course, etc.
©2014, Golf Convergence, Inc.
17
