He recommended the commission members contact him if they would be <br />interested. <br />Fasick asked if the new employee should go. <br />Robinson stated that would be a good idea. <br />Robinson mentioned he and Fasick had attended the Boulder Roundtable. He <br />mentioned they brought up the Empire Sign but no one had any good ideas. <br />Fasick asked if the sign could be placed on the Endangered Places list. <br />Fasick stated Lafayette has a historic items storage shop and it should be something <br />the City of Louisville could do. <br />Robinson stated staff has discussed this and is looking into areas where we can store <br />these items. <br />Stewart stated that was a good idea because historic products, such as windows, are <br />hard to find. <br />Items from Commission Members <br />Discussion Items for Next Meeting June 16, 2014 <br />was any interest in such an item. He stated other jurisdictions have mandates that all <br />deconstructed items should be resourced. <br />Robinson stated this sounds like a good idea and recommended working with the <br />sustainability commission. <br />Watson stated there are problems with deconstruction and retention due to lead paint and <br />the problem with storing asphalt shingles. <br />Fasick mentioned there was an awards ceremony tonight by the Boulder Roundtable to <br />highlight preservation projects. She stated we had attended in the past to show off our <br />landmarks and it might be something we can consider for the future. <br />Fahey asked if this could be an item for a future agenda. <br />Robinson answered in the affirmative. <br />Fahey asked if the new preservation employee will be at the next meeting. <br />Robinson stated the goal is to bring her to the next meeting. <br />Fahey stated it would be good to speak with her about the direction the board wants to go. <br />
