Revitalization Commission <br />Minutes <br />June 9, 2014 <br />Page 4 of 5 <br /> <br /> <br />McClure proposed removing the exposure of the utilities from 1 and 1a. He wants to <br />handle the drainage and reallocate the $350,000 to regional detention <br /> <br />were in favor, none opposed. <br /> <br />Chair Becker asked what if the bonds pay for only $350,000 of the detention? DeJong <br />said the additional funding will need to come from additional LRC funds, or have the <br />area property owners contribute funding. <br /> <br />Chair Becker asked the Committee of they felt it should be all or none. <br /> <br />Commissioner Gorsevski was undecided <br /> <br />Commissioner Lathrop would like to move forward and add it to next month <br /> <br />Commissioner Menaker would like to show Council a path and if necessary, utilize <br />district wide TIF funds to pay for the detention. <br /> <br />Commissioners Tofte, Fisher and Chair Becker had interest in committing additional <br />funds for drainage. <br /> <br />Attorney Light said we will need a resolution to approve the agreement using all <br />schedules and map the exhibit. <br /> <br />Commissioner Menaker thanked DeJong saying this all happened very fast and that he <br /> <br /> <br />Deputy City Manager Balser asked the LRC to come to the Council meeting to show <br />support for this. <br /> <br />Chair Becker asked how will priorities be arranged? Light said a financial advisor will <br />look at it to make sure the bonds can be paid. <br /> <br />Exhibit D defines what is eligible, Can cost estimates be reallocated and discussed <br />options as to how agreement can be written <br /> <br />By a voice vote, unanimous direction was given to amend Exhibit D will take water lines <br />out, and change the storm detention amount to $350,000. <br /> <br />Commissioner Menaker made a motion to pass Resolution 14-02. Commissioner <br />Lathrop seconded. Motion passed all in favor. <br /> <br />b. Update on BNSF: <br />
