Should the ordinance remain in place, it seems only fair that <br />universal enforcement should occur. Staff recommended the City Council approve <br />Ordinance No. 1668, Series 2014, which repeals Ordinance No. 809, Series 1982. <br />MOTION: Council member Keany moved to approve Ordinance No. 1668, Series 2014, <br />seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Dalton. Roll call vote was taken. The motion carried by a <br />vote of 6 -0. Absent: Council member Loo. <br />RESOLUTION No. 33, SERIES 2014 — A RESOLUTION APPROVING A <br />SPECIAL REVIEW USE (SRU), FINAL PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT (PUD), AND <br />RE -PLAT FOR PHASE 1 AND PHASE 1A OF A 14.13 ACRE REDEVELOPMENT <br />WITHIN THE CORE PROJECT AREA OF THE HIGHWAY 42 REVITALIZATION <br />DISTRICT — DELO PROJECT PHASE 1, SOUTHWEST CORNER OF GRIFFITH <br />STREET AND CANNON STREET <br />Mayor Muckle opened the public hearing and requested a staff presentation. <br />Principal Planner McCartney explained Resolution No.16, Series 2013 approved a <br />Preliminary Planned Unit Development for the DELO subdivision. Resolution No. 33, <br />Series 2014 approves the Final Plat, Final PUD and Special Review Use (SRU) for the <br />Development of 55 Townhomes in Phase 1/1A of a two phase development known as <br />DELO. <br />The DELO Project Request is a redevelopment of the Highway 42 Area. The <br />development is broken into two phases: Phase 1/1A and Phase 2. The regulatory <br />documents for the developments are the Louisville Municipal Code (LMC); the Mixed <br />Use Development Design Guidelines (MUDDSG); and the Highway 42 Framework Plan. <br />DELO — Final Phase 1/1A: Extends North from Front and Cannon Street south and <br />vacates North Front Street (will be privately maintained). The City will retain E. <br />Lafayette Street for 50' utility easement and public access. Public roads will provide <br />housing developments and creates public spaces that are privately maintained. <br />• Phasel : Relocated structure (commercial /office) and 55 multi -unit Townhomes <br />with mews. <br />• Phase 1A: Multi -Unit Townhomes and Public Greenway <br />• Phase 1: On -Site Drainage <br />• Phase 2: Multi -Unit Townhomes <br />• Phase 2: Multi -Unit.
