CITY OF LOUISVILLE <br />BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br />STAFF REPORT <br />July 16, 2014 <br />APPLICANT: Rich Trevino <br />OWNER: Same <br />STAFF PLANNER: Sean McCartney, Principal Planner <br />LOCATION: 525 Lincoln Avenue, Lots 11 - 12, Block 5, Acme Place Sub. <br />ZONING: Residential Low Density (RL) <br />REQUEST: Case #14- 028 -VA — Approval of a variance from Section <br />17.12.040 of the Louisville Municipal Code (LMC) to allow a 5 <br />foot side yard setback for an addition along the southern <br />property line and to allow a structure to be within 10 feet from <br />an adjacent building at 525 Lincoln Avenue. <br />SUMMARY OF PROPOSAL: <br />The applicant and owner, Rich Trevino, is requesting a 5 foot side yard setback where 7 <br />feet is required, and to allow a building to be placed within 10 feet from an adjacent <br />structure in the Old Town Overlay District. If approved, the request would allow for an <br />addition to be placed 5 feet from the southern property line. <br />1 <br />
