Adoption — April 16, 2013 <br />Lipton, Russ, and Moline briefly discussed affordable housing, incentives for <br />affordable housing, infill development, and fiscal health with Russ prior to Lipton <br />asking for public comment. <br />Public Comment: <br />Andy Johnson, 920 Lincoln and a member of LSAB. He thanked staff for the <br />incredible process they have had with the Comp Plan update. He discussed the <br />aging housing is Louisville, the importance of energy conservation, the importance of <br />adopting a green building code, and the relationship of economic development to <br />Infill vs. Greenfield. <br />Steve Anderson, 225 South Boulder Road, discussed his experience with previous <br />comprehensive plans for the City and he finds this to be the best. He stated his <br />appreciation of staff and how the community has been involved. He compared the <br />comprehensive plan to a business plan. <br />Closed Public Hearing: <br />Lipton closed the public hearing and requested a page -by -page review of the <br />document by the Planning Commission. <br />The incorporated redline document (pages 9 -66) reflects the following: <br />• edits suggested by the Planning Commissioners during the page by page <br />review <br />• addition of the final section — Implementation and <br />• additional proofreading edits from staff. <br />Planning Commission Comments — <br />Lipton complemented the Planning Staff regarding the excellent job they have done <br />with the Comprehensive Plan. <br />
