Planning Commission <br />MeetingMinutes <br />October 10, 2013 <br />Page 2of 8 <br />Davinoy stated the Bull Head Gulch underpass will be instrumental in this connection. <br />Lipion stated connectivity to the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) area is very important. <br />Davinoy stated there is a bike facilities master plan which shows a future connectivity of <br />the BRT area. <br />Lipton asked how you manage multi use trails. <br />Davinoy stated the City of Louisville does not have any separated trails –the trails are <br />open to all users. <br />Brauneis stated he would be willing to ask City Council to expand the purview of the <br />OSAB to look at all types of trails to alleviate the impact of traffic. <br />Davinoy stated he would take that back to OSAB and let the Council representative <br />know. <br />Brauneis inquired about the Bull Head Gulch underpass. <br />Russ stated there are two underpass connections: Bull Head Gulch and South Street <br />Underpass. <br />Moline inquired about connections to downtown –is this to be an urban experience or <br />maybe a trail along the rail road. <br />Russ stated a trail along the rail road would be great but it is difficult to meet the <br />Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) standards, especially with limited area and the <br />future potential of BNSF of expanding their tracks. <br />Public Comment –None heard. <br />Planning Commission took about 15 minutes to look at the map. <br />Regular Business – <br />Resolution No. 22, Series 2013: 1772 Prairie Way: <br />A final planned unit <br />development (PUD) plan amendment request to reinstate the original PUD <br />(98,951 SF and 40’ in height) by reducing the massing of the building <br />(83,500 SF and 28’ in height) and the phasing of the construction (Phase <br />A–37,500 SF and Phase B –45,000). All other aspects of the previously <br />approved PUD will remain the same. <br />Applicant: PEH Architects (Peter E.
