Planning Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />December 12, 2013 <br />Page 4of 9 <br />Marcie Smith, 2280 West Hecla Drive, endorses Boulder Creek as phenomenal <br />builders. She stated this property does not make any sense as a commercial property. <br />She added the 24 new homes would provide more residential buying power to entice <br />new commercial in the marketplace area. She supports this proposal. <br />Jan Harkens, 2240 West Hecla Drive, stated she is very excited about this development <br />and believe Boulder Creek is a great developer. <br />Mark Thompson, 782 Treece Street, statedhe agrees with the comments of the <br />previous speakers. He stated the 24 additional units will support Louisville and will bea <br />good addition to the area. <br />Summary and request by Staff and Applicant: <br />None heard. <br />Closed Public Hearing and discussion by Commission: <br />Brauneis stated this looks like a nice extension of what is already out there. <br />Moline stated he was impressed with hearing from the neighbors in this new <br />neighborhood. <br />Tengler stated he was happy to hear how much the developer worked with the <br />neighbors and the City. <br />O’Connell stated this looks like a good development. <br />Commission Action: <br />Brauneismade a motion to approve as presented.
