Communication from Eide Bailly, LLP, the City's Independent Auditors <br />(AU -260 Communication) <br />Mayor Muckle noted there will be an election on November 4, 2014 to fill the City <br />Council vacancy in Ward I. The deadline to submit a petition for office is Monday, <br />August 25th. He also reported the Consent Agenda contains a $1 Million Grant from the <br />Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment for the Wastewater Treatment <br />Plant. City Manager Fleming credited Water Resources Engineer Dmitry Tepo and <br />Public Works Director Kurt Kowar for submitting the grant application and advocating for <br />the $1 million grant. <br />MOTION: Mayor Muckle moved to approve the Consent Agenda, seconded by Mayor <br />Pro Tem Dalton. All were in favor. Absent: Council member Moss. <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON THE <br />AGENDA <br />There were no Council informational comments. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />City Manager Fleming reported on the following: <br />• The Recreation Center will be closed from Wednesday, August 20 through <br />Wednesday, August 27, 2014 for annual maintenance. This year's focus will be <br />the American with Disabilities Act improvements, specifically to the steam room <br />
