James Keener, 788 W. Lois Court. Mr. Keener would like to see this done right. It is time to
take the opportunity to upgrade the power lines and upgrade the community by burying the power
line underground. He would like to see Public Service Company invest in this community.

Stephanie Westdyke, 764 West Lois Court. Ms. Westdyke asked if Public Service would be
willing to disclose a cost analysis of replacing the lines per their proposal versus burying the lines.
If the cost were amortized over 25 years of the life of the poles she would guess it would be a
negligible amount and one that would be worthy of the investment. Ms. Westdyke would like to
know for sure whether the lines will be louder or not. She is not sure why Louisville as a
community is being asked to carry the burden for Broomfield receiving better service.

Commissioner Lipton stated that he would also like to see included the difference in maintenance
cost, if there is any, over the lifecycle of the two different alternatives.

Bill Daniel, 1137 Harper Lake Drive. Mr. Daniel wondered why there hasn’t been more talk
about re-routing these lines above ground in another location. There are single tower lines that
run through the open space on the West Side of McCaslin. Those lines continue south from
Highway 36 and if possible he would like to see if there is a possibility of using those existing
towers, or if necessary putting in new towers along that same route and then turning southeast
along Highway 36. He would like to see something in future meetings that address this re-routing
issue.

Dave Berman, 801 West Mulberry Street. Mr. Berman stated that he had read that Public Service
had set aside funds on an annual basis that would be refunded back to municipalities specifically
for under grounding lines. He wondered if that has been investigated and if that fund even exists
and what is available for this project.

Rob Dando, 739 West Linden. Mr. Dando asked if this is indeed going to service Interlocken if
there is any way to get them to participate in burying the power lines. Mr. Dando asked what the
total capacity of the line going to be? After these are put in Louisville does not have any control
of what they do or how much current they put through that line.

Gordon Massy, lives at 742 West Spruce Court and just purchased 781 West Birch Court which
backs right on to the power line. Mr. Massy is also a real estate broker, and he has had a listing
th
of a home, which backed to the power line at 75 and Jay Road and could not sell it. After the
house was dropped $20,000 it did sell. Most people did not want to go into the house because of
the power lines. Property values that are being destroyed along this corridor are probably going
to be 9 or 10 million dollars worth if you add it all up together. He feels that Louisville is paying
a great deal for Interlocken’s benefit.

Tim Hoar, 762 West Willow. Mr. Hoar would like to know what the difference is between what
th
the proposed scenario is going to be versus the ones at 75 and Jay Road. He has been out by the

8
