<br />address the height of the logos: 1) That all reference to “letter height in Ordinance 1353 and in the <br />Commercial Development Design Standards and Guidelines (CDDSG) shall be changed to <br />“character height” and 2) That “Character shall be defined in the CDDSG as follows: “A character <br />includes any graphic symbol used for sign text, including but not limited to letters, numbers and <br />logos, provided that any character used for sign text must be a part of the name, service mark or <br />trademark of the company or business.” <br /> <br />Lipton closed the public hearing and requested commission comments. <br /> <br />Public Hearing Closed / Commission Comments / Vote: <br />No commission comments. <br /> <br />Lipton requested motion. <br /> <br />Thompson moved and Leh seconded that Resolution 50, Series 2000, Ordinance 1353 be <br />approved with the wording changes suggested by Leh. <br /> <br />Motion passed unanimously. Case #00-057-FP. <br /> <br /> <br />Final PUD for a senior independent living facility, Balfour Independent Living, approximately 5 <br />acres at the NE corner of Hecla Drive and Highway 42, Lots 2 and 3, Alvenus Park Subdivision. <br />Case #00-058-FP. <br /> <br /> <br />Amended final PUD development plan and special review use for a new wireless CMRS facility, <br />QWest Wireless, 1301 Courtesy Road (Highway 42). Case #00-042-CM. <br /> <br /> <br />Amended final PUD for outdoor sales and storage and a new sign package, Lowe’s, 1171 Dillon <br />Road, Lot 1, Centennial Valley, Parcel L, Filing No. 1. Case #00-054-FP. <br /> <br /> <br />Staff reported that Case #00-058-FP and #00-054-FP are moving forward and will considered at <br />the January 18, 2001 meeting. Case #00-057-FP and #00-042-FP are still in process and might <br />not be complete for their consideration. <br /> <br />Lipton requested to have the Parks and Recreation Department attend the meeting or provide an <br />update from them if Case #00-042-FP is confirmed on their agenda. <br /> <br /> <br /> 11 <br /> <br />
