Seconded by Robert McAllister. All Commissioners were in favor to continue. <br /> <br />C. Resolution No. 7, Series 1999, Consideration of an ordinance placing a <br />temporary moratorium on the processing of downtown development <br />applications. <br /> <br />Staff Public Notice Certification: <br /> <br />Ken Johnstone, Principal Planner, certified that public notice was published in the Louisville <br />Times on January 23, 1999, and posted in City Hall. The moratorium ordinance that has been <br />proposed was initiated by City Council and forwarded to the Planning Commission at first reading <br />at the January 9,199, hearing. The City Council public hearing has also been advertised and set <br />for Tuesday, February 16, 1999. <br /> <br />Staff Report and Facts and Issues: <br /> <br />Ken Johnstone stated that the ordinance would place a temporary moratorium on the processing <br />of all PUD and Special Review applications in the downtown C-C and C-B zoning districts on <br />both sides of the tracts. It would be effective through May 17, 1999. The intent of the ordinance <br />is to give Council some time to pass several potential ordinances related to downtown. Mr. <br />Johnstone presented the details of this matter as stated in the staff report. <br /> <br /> 2 <br /> <br />
