<br />Staff Public Notice Certification: <br /> <br />Kenneth Johnstone, Principal Planner, certified that public notice was published in the Daily Camera <br />on Sunday, November 23, and mailed to surrounding property owners on Friday, November 19, 1999. <br /> All Planning Commissioners verified that they were familiar with the site. <br /> <br />Staff Report and Facts and Issues: <br /> <br />Mr. Johnstone presented the details of this matter as stated in the staff report. <br /> <br />Commission Questions: <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />Applicant Presentation: <br /> <br />Brian Chesser with TSP Architects representing the owners of Texaco Express Lube, Rod Schmidt <br />and Raymond Jones. Mr. Chesser stated that their intention is to fit in to the retail area that is already <br />started in this location. They have made a tremendous effort to enhance the architecture of this <br />building to suit the city. <br /> <br />Mr. Chesser stated that there has been an easement for Public Works to the detention pond in the <br />back. There will be a drive-over curb and easement across the native grasses to the detention pond. <br />They have also added five decorative lights to the pedestrian areas. The bollards will be painted a <br />hunter green color to match the metal roof. <br /> <br />Mr. Chesser described the uses of the building materials and passed them around to the <br />Commissioners. <br /> <br />Members of the Public: <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />Commission Questions: <br /> <br />Commissioner Lipton asked what the operating hours would be for the facility. Mr. Schmidt stated it <br />would be open Monday through Saturday 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Lipton asked if they had any objections to the recommendations of staff. <br /> <br />Mr. Chesser said they do not. <br /> <br />Staff Summary: <br /> <br />Mr. Johnstone stated that staff is recommending approval of Resolution No. 56, with 3 conditions. <br /> <br /> 2 <br /> <br />
