<br /> <br />Martell provided the following background information: <br /> <br />1.Colony Square final Plat and PUD approved – October 1993. <br /> <br />2.Serviced by a private road, which also serves the Village Shops area. <br /> <br />3.An “emergency exit” connects to the Home Depot parking lot. <br /> <br />4.City of Louisville boundaries <br /> <br />5.No formal review being down for the bridge structure or the bus plaza area. They are <br />located in the US 36 ROW and not under the jurisdiction of the City of Louisville. <br /> <br />6.Review is only for the stairwell structure, bridge abutment and sidewalks located with the <br />City of Louisville. <br /> <br />7.The Louisville portion consists of two plaza areas: one located at the bus stop ramp and <br />the second at the send of the pedestrian bridge located at the parking lot. These areas will <br />be connected with a walkway, serving the bus stop area and the pedestrian bridge area. <br /> <br />The rest of Martell’s report reviewed the Plaza Area, Colors, Parking Areas and Parking <br />Agreements, Parking Study, Security Cameras, Lighting, Signage, Landscaping and the <br />Commercial Development Design Standards and Guidelines. <br /> <br />Martell referenced the plan sheet for a discussion of the Plaza Area and color selection. <br /> <br />Martell stated that the parking agreement and the parking study resulted in a report that 171 <br />parking spaces are to be leased on a long-term basis. The study confirmed that the parking <br />demand appears to meet the supply of spaces. <br /> <br /> Martell reported that for the safety of those using the area there would be security cameras and <br />adequate lighting installed.
