Call to Order: Helen called the meeting to order at 7:02 pm. <br />II. Roll Call: <br />Board Members Present: Mike Schantz, Helen Moshak, Missy Davis, Linda Smith, <br />Christopher Smith, Tom Davinroy and Laura Scott Denton <br />Board Members Absent: Spencer Guthrie <br />Staff Members Present: Ember Brignull and Harlan Vitoff <br />City Council Member Present: Jeffery Lipton <br />III. Approval of Agenda: Linda moved to approve the agenda as written. Tom <br />seconded. The motion was passed unanimously. <br />IV. Approval of Meeting Minutes: Laura moved to approve the minutes from the <br />previous meeting without corrections or changes. Missy seconded. The motion was <br />passed unanimously. <br />V. Staff Updates: <br />1) The City's Coyote Management Plan is going through one more round of revisions, <br />incorporating comments from Colorado Parks and Wildlife and Project Coyote. The final <br />draft will be shared with the board and include letters of support. <br />2) The annual Colorado Open Space Alliance (COSA) meeting will be held on Sept 15- <br />17th, in Vail. The City can sponsor two board members' registration fees. Contact <br />Ember by August 20th if you are interested in attending. All of the City's Open Space <br />staff vriII attend. <br />3) Planning has hired a consultant for their Wayfinding RFP. Their project's kickoff is on <br />October 8th and will last into 2015. Ember indicated that the Planning Department's <br />consultant will be presenting information to OSAB in early 2015. The City's Capital <br />Improvement Project Manager is reviewing the Open Space Wayfinding RFP. Staff is <br />hoping to post the RFP by next week, and collect submissions by Sept 16. The <br />consultant will visit the board in October. <br />4) The McCaslin/VVashington underpass ribbon cutting ceremony happened on July <br />25th. Tom Davinroy introduced the mayor and gave some background on the project. <br />Staff inspected the irrigation and landscaping to see what needs to be replaced by the <br />contractor.
