All <br />were in favor. <br />McClure said DELO needs approval by December 2nd. Chair Becker said the <br />LRC can meet if necessary. <br />DeJong hopes to take the item to second Council meeting in October. <br />PUD Referral — DELO Development <br />No referral comments from LRC <br />PUD Referral — DELO Plaza <br />Commercial community mixed use portion. <br />Commissioner Tofte said he hopes it does not look like a huge pad of asphalt. He <br />would like the visual from Hwy 42 to be more pleasing. <br />Planning and Building Safety Director Troy Russ said this sets the framework up <br />for future. <br />Commissioner Gorsevski asked if the area will be walkable? Russ said it is not <br />currently walkable but it will be in the future. <br />Chair Becker asked if there is a way to enforce maintenance of the boulevard. <br />Russ said yes, though code enforcement. <br />Commissioner Lathrop and Chair Becker said the project doesn't seem as <br />special as the other things that have been shared with LRC. McClure agreed, <br />and said they will do the best possible product. Timing is critical. <br />Chair Becker said LRC needs to evaluate how this best integrates with area. <br />McClure said the quality the DELO brings will drive the project. <br />Russ said the infrastructure drives quality of project. <br />DeJong said drive -thru parcels are in high demand. <br />City Manager Fleming asked about the western elevation. McClure said the <br />project will have enhanced architecture on western side. Landscaping is the path <br />forward . <br />6 <br />
