Historic Preservation Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />September 15, 2014 <br />Page 2 of 4 <br />Pre - filing Conference — 10101 Dillon Road <br />Watson opened up the item. <br />Trice presented the items in the staff report, giving background of the structure including <br />historical photos. <br />Courtney Colbert, prospective property buyer, spoke in regards to the proposed <br />development project. She stated they want to demo the existing structures to construct <br />a new flex building. She presented photos showing the existing buildings. <br />Fasick stated she questioned the house being built in 1913. She believed the house <br />appeared to be built in the 1930's. <br />Watson asked when the HPC would receive a social history of the property. <br />Trice stated it would happen at the formal submittal phase. <br />Fasick stated there is not enough information to give a formal direction. <br />Watson asked if the applicant was familiar with the categories of how a property is <br />deemed historic. <br />Colbert stated she was unfamiliar. <br />Watson went through the categories. He stated the agricultural buildings might have <br />social and architectural significance. <br />It was determined the property may have significance but more information will be <br />provided at the time of submittal. <br />Probable Cause Determination — 1140 Lincoln <br />Watson stated there is not a sufficient quorum to review this item. Therefore the item is <br />requested to be continued to a special meeting date. <br />Jason and Adanta Dehne stated they are flexible with their time. They appreciated the <br />effort. <br />PUBLIC HEARING — 1245 Grant Landmark, Alteration Certificate, Grant <br />Watson stated there is not a sufficient quorum to review this item. Therefore the item is <br />requested to be continued to a special meeting date. He asked the applicants if they <br />would be flexible to try and schedule a special meeting. <br />Harry Ramsey Thomas and Cynthia Thomas would be willing to schedule something <br />this month. <br />
