<br />APPROVAL OF BID AWARD -1996 FALL TREE PLANTING <br />APPROVAL OF CHANGE ORDER NO.1 - ART CENTER RESTORATION <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Frosty Wooldridge, 1458 Ford Place, Louisville, Colorado 80027, spoke of overcrowding on the <br />highways, namely u.s. 36. He was concerned about the tremendous growth in Louisville and wanted <br />more open space purchasing to stop the growth. He asked Council to think ahead, be pro-active, <br />preempt the developers, instigate more open space, and let the citizens have the quality oflife they <br />moved to Louisville for. <br /> <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS <br />NOT ON THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Sisk complimented the citizens of Louisville for their 73.7% voter turnout at the polls, which was the <br />highest number in Boulder County. He also pointed out that the senior meal site would not be closed. <br />On Friday afternoon he attended the Morgan senior housing ground breaking and praised the <br />Louisville Housing Authority and Senior Advisory Board for their work on the project. <br /> <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br /> <br />PROCLAMATION - HOME HEALTH CARE MONTH - NOVEMBER 1996 <br /> <br />Davidson read and presented the proclamation to Carol Barrett, Manager of the Porter Care at Home <br />A vista. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1233, SERIES 1996 - APPROVING THE V ACA TION OF AN <br />EASEMENT WITHIN THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE - LOUISVILLE NORTH, FILING ONE <br />- 2ND READING - PUBLIC HEARING (PUBL. LSVL. TIMES 10/19/96) <br /> <br />Tanoue read by title only Ordinance No. 1233, Series 1996, "An ordinance approving the vacation <br />of an easement within the City of Louisville." <br /> <br />Tom Phare, Public Works Director, stated that this would correct an error in the plat resulting in the <br />building setbacks and proximity to each other being squeezed. <br /> <br />Davidson opened the public hearing calling for anyone wishing to speak on Ordinance No. 1233. <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />Davidson closed the public hearing and called for Council comments, questions, or motions. <br /> <br />2 <br />
