CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT

NONE

CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT

Bill Simmons, City Administrator, informed Council that he would be attending the November 14
meeting of the Louisville Fire Protection Board to discuss their desire to continue to cooperate or
seek City assistance in locating a third fire station site in the southeast area of Louisville (Dillon
Road/96th Street area). He pointed out that Budget discussion would continue at the next Work
Session on November 12.

COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS

Levihn commented that Alpine Lumber had put out $3,500 for a plan to improve their existing drop-
off place for their lumber and some beautification.

Sisk wanted to know if procedures could be set up by which Council could define to the CTC
applicants that if they are on the developed side they will not have to pay $20/linear foot and if they
are on the other side they will. He wanted the issue clarified.

Bill Simmons, City Administrator, stated that they will continue to try to get together with the CTC
directors.

Lathrop felt that a deadline needed to be set with CTC and beyond that point the City will not
entertain any more applications until the issue is resolved.

Davidson directed that if they do not present a plan by a certain date, then ask the Planning
Commission and Planning staff to submit to Council what the sidewalk plan should be. It would be
approved and every property after that would have to meet that.

Keany was concerned about CTC's streetlight plan for security as it is so dark out there at night.

ADJOURNMENT

Sisk moved that Council adjourn (8:00 p.m.), seconded by Keany. All in favor.

.--~ D~~

Tom Davidson, Mayor

~~

Dave Clabots, City Clerk

8
