CaII to Order: The meeting was called to order at 6:30pm by Chair David Hsu. Meeting Minutes <br />taken by Jim Bradford. <br />II. Roll Call: (Members present in bold): Jim Bradford, Steve Domenico, Mary Ann Heaney, <br />David Hsu, Claudia Lenz, Mark Persichetti; Justine Vigil- Tapia; City -Staff Liaison Dave Szabados; <br />City - Council Liaison Ashley Stolzmann; visitor Lea Yancey. <br />III. Approval of Current - Meeting's Agenda: Approved without modification. <br />IV. Approval of August 20th Meeting Minutes: The minutes from the September 17, 2014 <br />meeting were approved. <br />V. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda: <br />• Lea Yancey: Have "Business Sustainability Partners for a Clean <br />Environment (PACE) program" rolling out again. There are 130 <br />businesses in Lafayette engaged. Got federal grant (waste, water and <br />energy advising). Lea would like to present PACE at the next LSAB <br />meeting. Business certification and recommendation would are good <br />things for energy efficiency. How? Who. Boulder County is doing <br />another round of matching grants. Applications due in March or <br />maybe some other similar time. Boulder, Longmont, Lafayette, <br />Nederland, Lyons got grants. $30K total, $15K match. Lea is all about <br />community liaison. She will send a synopsis of what other communities <br />in area the are doing. <br />• Mark Persichetti: Just recently, Lafayette Green Business Recognition <br />Program. They score business that fill out application — bronze, silver, <br />gold tiers. Mark wants to meet with chair of committee or others. <br />October 21 event — Mark can go. <br />VI. Ashley's minute <br />• Next meeting Ashley will likely be out, a different person will be in. <br />• Water efficiency plan is available on line.
