We have old apps, that could be <br />used to find volunteers <br />• Former Sam's Club is been declared a blight. <br />• Boulder County housing authority wants to Annex and plat a particular <br />location. Affordable housing, October 20 at 5:30 PM in alfalfa's <br />community room. <br />• Ward 1 meeting October 23. <br />• Leaf drop at water treatment site until Nov 23 <br />• Budget — tight this year "Establish Community Garden." Currently <br />projecting spending more money than we are taking in. If you want to <br />get things done, get on budget <br />• County Road Bridge- 3 options: want to do project asap. CDOT and <br />Feds FHWA are funding. Meeting November 18. <br />• Marijuana regs — moratorium on more pot shops (limit of 2) <br />• Food and beverage contract <br />• Small Area Planning SBR — what do we want SBR to be like? <br />• DBA intending to do zero waste. Sustainability Road Map <br />• Energy Efficiency — Jim and Dave met and filled out template in draft. <br />The plan is more strategic and less tactical. <br />• Government: to do's: Cost effective energy measures, Decrease <br />per capita energy consumption. Implement cost benefit analysis. <br />How do we quantify softer benefits? <br />• Public Sector: Similar, government may lead by example <br />• Other Cities are somewhat ahead of Louisville in the <br />development and implementation of energy efficiency efforts. <br />• Lea Yancey — Boulder county is performing a program impact <br />analysis. Environmental, social, and other impacts to be <br />considered. "Natural Capitalization Solutions" was hired. Draft <br />report should be done in January.
