Tennessen noted in <br />the narrative for Spice China, it should have been noted the Authority did <br />review one police report, with no further action taken. He stated he knows the <br />owner of the Empire quite well, but it would not influence his vote on their <br />renewal. Tennessen moved the consent agenda be approved. Hughes <br />seconded. All in favor. Consent agenda approved. Lipton absent. <br />Authority Business <br />A. Show Cause Hearing — Blue Parrot, Inc. d/b/a Blue Parrot Cafe —Hotel <br />& Restaurant Liquor License - 640 Main Street (CONTINUED — <br />AUTHORITY MEMBERS WILL BE ASKED TO SET NEW DATE) <br />Carlson noted the show cause hearing needed to be continued to a date other <br />than the November meeting of the Local Licensing Authority. Secretary Hanson <br />suggested the Authority consider the first three Monday evenings in December. <br />The licensee and the special prosecutor report they can attend on those dates. <br />She suggested the members consider substituting this meeting for the November <br />24, 2014 meeting. Carlson suggested combining both the November and <br />December meetings on Monday, December 8, 2014 at 7:00 PM. Authority <br />members concurred. <br />B. Trade Name Change/Surrender of Medical Marijuana License — <br />Altermeds LLC d/b/a Altermeds — Retail Marijuana Center — 1156 W. <br />Dillon Road #3 <br />Carlson stated this item was a change in the trade name to "Starbuds" and the <br />State had forwarded notice the licensee had surrendered their medical license <br />and was now strictly a retail store. He noted the owner was in the audience if <br />Authority members had any questions. Tennessen moved to approve the <br />
