Louisville Sustainability Advisory Board
Meeting Minutes
November 19, 2014
Page3of4
David offered to make another pass at making the sustainability roadmap more cohesive in
preparation for presenting to City Council in 2015.
IX. Community Garden Update: Mary Ann asked the Board if anyone knew of a civil engineer,
currently a PE to assist with the development of the garden. Because the garden site is located in a
100 year flood plain, Louisville is requiring submittal of a Flood Plan Development Permit Application.
She thought the project would require approximately 2 hours. Everyone agreed to ask around and
see if this person could be found.
X. LSAB Board Opening.
There was discussion regarding what type of person would be best to fill the vacancy On
LSAB. The consensus was that a person with a marketing /sales background or urban planning would
be very beneficial. Mary Ann suggested we look online at the applications when available and make
suggestions to Jay Keany prior to final decisions. Applicants are being interviewed on December 8
and 9.
XI.
