Bill Blankenship, Human Resources Officer, agreed. Specifically, the city was looking for technical <br />assistance only. In subsequent conversations with the City Attorney, they indicated that the city could <br />amend the proposed agreement in the Scope of Services to include the phrase "services as may be <br />requested from time to time by the city." Exhibit "A" was not intended to be inclusive. It was <br />intended to be exclusive. <br /> <br />Mayer stated that the maximum amount of compensation was for $16,000 and he felt it should go <br />before the Finance Committee for review before being put on the Consent Agenda. <br /> <br />Davidson moved that Council refer the Contract to the Finance Committee. Seconded by Levihn. <br />All in favor. <br /> <br />AUTHORIZATION TO THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR OR HIS REPRESENTATIVE TO <br />ENTER INTO NEGOTIATIONS FOR THE PURCHASE OF THE DAUGHENBAUGH <br />PROPERTY <br /> <br />Davidson moved that Council authorize the City Administrator or his representative to enter into <br />negotiations for the acquisition of the Daughenbaugh property for open space. Seconded by Howard. <br />All in favor. <br /> <br />Davidson moved that Council authorize the City Administrator to retain the services of an appraiser. <br />Seconded by Levihn. All in favor. <br /> <br />DRAFT ORDINANCE TO HAVE AN EXPIRATION PERIOD FOR PUDS, A SUNSET <br />PROVISION <br /> <br />Sisk commented that this had been discussed at the last Work Session, because of some PUDs having <br />a life of their own.
