This was due
to street construction in the downtown area. Sisk wanted to make sure that water being turned off
without notice did not happen again and that the affected neighbors received an apology for this
incidence. Also, he asked Bill Simmons, City Administrator, to give a report on the new McDonald's
exterior appearance.

Simmons stated that staff did a further examination of the approved PUD for McDonald's. The
existing color scheme on the building is white stucco with a beige stripe around it. The PUD calls
for a more muted tone of tan instead of white. He was in the process of trying to contact the
McDonald's people about getting the color changed to conform with the PUD.

Sisk thanked Bill Blankenship, Linda Salas, and all other City staff for the very well done Volunteer's
Appreciation Day.

Mayer stated that at the April 4, 1995, Council meeting he had made a correction of the minutes of
the previous meeting. He later found that the original minutes were indeed correct and he asked that
the original minutes be restored and thanked Sue Hack.

Davidson and Council had no objection. Davidson so directed.

REGULAR BUSINESS

PROCLAMATION - SENIOR CENTER MONTH - MAY 1995

2
