Local Licensing Authority <br />Minutes <br />August 27, 2007 <br />Page 4 of 4 <br />Attorney Delaney Lew said shoe believed it is the role of the Authority to make a <br />recommendation to Council aind going to them first makes it circular so she <br />asked the Authority members to reopen the discussion. <br />Discussion centered on whetl-ier there was a need to prove "actual and <br />necessary expenses" to raise the fees, what the fiscal impact really is to the City <br />versus the impact on small businesses when the City is working hard to retain <br />and attract business. Members of the Authority asked if they didn't raise fees, if <br />a letter could be sent or it be noted in the Liquor Lore. <br />Rommelfanger moved the Authority not raise the fees for one year and revisit the <br />issue next July. Lipton seconded. Roll Call Vote: Rommelfanger -yes, Carlson <br />- yes, Wilson - no, Lipton -yes and Mulvahill -yes. <br />Police Department Reports <br />None <br />Secretary's Report <br />Hanson reported on the attendees at the last training. There were sixteen <br />attendees with four from Loui:;ville. <br />Authority Attorney's Report <br />No report. <br />Authority Comment <br />Adjournment -Wilson moved to adjourn at 8:04 P.M.
