WHEREAS, it is desirable and in the public interest that the <br />Louisville Urban Renewal Authority (herein called the "Local Public <br />Agency") undertake and cars°y out the Neighborhood Development Program <br />(herein called the "Program") identified as the Neighborhood Develop- <br />went Program (NDP) for Louisville, Colorado, and encompassing the area <br />known as Colo. A-12 and described in Exhibit A attached hereto, in the <br />City of Louisville, State of Colorado, (herein called the "Locality"); <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, the Local Public Agency has applied for additional finan- <br />cial assistance under such Act and proposes to enter into an additional <br />contract with the Department of Housing and Urban Development for the <br />under~a~ing of, and for making available additional financial assistance <br />for, the Program; and <br />WHEREAS, there has been previously prepared and referred to <br />the Council of the City of Louisville of the Locality, (herein called <br />the "Governing Body") for review and approval a copy of an Urban Renewal <br />Plan for the area comprising the Program, dated June 6, 1972, which Plan <br />was entitled "General Urban Renewal Plan for Louisville, Colorado Neighbor- <br />hood Development Program", Louisville NDP Area No. Colo. A-12 (consisting <br />of nine (9) pages, three (3) maps and one Exhibit consisting of twenty <br />(20) pages, which set of conditions are set forth in a copy of the plan <br />being on file at the City Hall; and <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary that the Governing Body take appropriate <br />official action respecting the Urban Renewal Plan for the Program, in <br />conformity with the contracts for financial assistance between the Local <br />Public Agency and the United States of America, acting by and through <br />the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development; and <br />-2- <br />
