ACTING CITY ADMINISTRATOR Mayor Fauson moved Davidson seconded to retain <br />Sharon Asti-Caranci as the Acting City <br />Administrator. The motion passed unanimously. <br />' Mayor Fauson stated that at tomorrow's <br />Executive Session the terms of Ms. Asti- <br />Caranci's appointment be discussed and <br />approved. <br />OTHER: Asti-Caranci reminded Council of the 1990 CML <br />Conference this Saturday. <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE <br />REPORTS Howard stated that he had been invited to <br />attend an economic development seminar in <br />Colorado Spring on the 21st and 22nd of January <br />wherein he hopes to gain information on how and <br />where to obtain available funds to promote <br />bringing certain businesses to Louisville such <br />as the bio-tech industry. Howard also stated <br />that upon request, he received a letter from <br />STC regarding their comments on City services <br />which he will share with the remainder of <br />Council. Howard stated that he found a vital <br />source of information regarding bio-tech <br />industries and how they relate to cities and <br />has asked staff to obtain this information. <br />Davidson informed Council that the Consortium <br />of Cities is having a meeting on the 14th <br />of February regarding the MTDC plan at 7:30 <br />p.m. at the Boulder County Court House and <br />encouraged as many people as possible to join <br />him in attending this important meeting. <br />RECESS The meeting was recessed until Wednesday, <br />January 17, 1990, 7:30 p.m. to conduct an <br />Executive Session regarding the Superior law <br />suit, the Acting City Administrator's terms of <br />appointment and the matter regarding an issue <br />with the City of Lafayette. <br />13 <br />
