Some concerns were expressed concerning the <br />issue of staying within budget and if some of <br />these requested changes were frivolous. <br />Sackett stated that the Rec Center project is <br />staying within budget and with the built-in <br />contingencies can now offer some upgrades. <br />Sackett will support the Change Order stating <br />that he encourages the need to continue to <br />look for ways to save money and still offer <br />these upgrades. Davidson concurred. <br />Mayor Fauson moved and Davidson seconded to <br />approve Change Order #2 for the Recreation <br />Center. The motion passed 5-2 with Hornbostel <br />and Howard voting no. <br />APPOINTMENTS Candidates for the appointments of the <br />following positions are as follows: <br />City Attorney - Steve Williamson, Bruce Joss, <br />and Pat Williams <br />Prosecuting Attorney - Bruce Joss, Pat <br />Williams, and Richard Samson <br />Municipal Judge - John Stavely and George <br />Hilgendorf <br />Associate Judge - George Hilgendorf, John <br />Barrett and Howard Current. <br />By voice vote, the following appointment were <br />made by Council: <br />CITY ATTORNEY Mayor Fauson moved and Szymanski seconded to <br />appoint Pat Williams as the City's attorney. <br />The motion passed unanimously. <br />PROSECUTING ATTORNEY Hornbostel moved and Howard seconded to appoint <br />Bruce Joss as Prosecuting attorney. The motion <br />passed unanimously. <br />MUNICIPAL JUDGE Szymanski moved and Howard seconded to appoint <br />John Stavely as Municipal Judge. The motion <br />passed unanimously. <br />ASSOCIATE JUDGE Szymanski nominated and Howard seconded to <br />appoint George Hilgendorf as Associate Judge. <br />Davidson nominated and Mayor Fauson seconded to <br />appoint John Barrett as Associate Judge. By a <br />show of hands, John Barrett was appointed <br />Associate Judge by a 4-3 vote. <br />12 <br />
