The trial is
scheduled for March 19, 1990. Mr. McElroy
stated that their Town Council would like to
see a committee formed consisting of three
elected officials from each municipality with
the purpose of exploring a settlement of this
dispute outside of the court room.
Williamson cautioned Council that they should
discuss the specifics of the civil action in an
executive session as any public discussion of
the dispute could affect the proceedings.
Williamson stated that a settlement offer was
tendered (by unanimous decision of Council in
an executive approximately three weeks ago) and
this is the first time Louisville has heard
anything back from Superior.
Mr. McElroy stated that they would like to see
a. different approach -- one between Councils
2
