ar-<i st ,arm Drainage District - Drainage Way B <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS None. <br />RZ+aGtu,ni; f;USINESS <br />LOUISVILLE URBAN RENEWAL, AND HOUSING <br />AU'P~~t:~tt i'rY APPOINTMENTS Mayor Fauson appointed two members <br />to the Louisville Urban Renewal and Housing <br />Autht,rity Board: John Stead for a 5-year <br />term and Clair Beckman for a 3-year term. <br />SELECTION OF ART FOR LIBRARY <br />Carolyn Markham gave a brief presentation <br />representing Arts and Humanities council <br />stating they received money for the art in <br />the library and are appointing a nine- <br />member committee to get together to select <br />the art for the library. Ms. Markham asked <br />for a representative from the City Council <br />to serve on the committee to make ~+~rf` i teat <br />they do address all the needs and desires <br />of the community at large. <br />Mayor Fauson asked if anyone on the Council <br />would like to join the committee. Howard <br />volur-leered to be the representative. <br />Mayor Fauson moved and it was seconded that <br />Kev.ir- Howard become the representative. <br />Motion carried 7-0. <br />RESOLUTION PRESENTED BY COUNCILWOMAN <br />HORNBOSTEL: Mayor Fauson opened the Public Hearing <br />and the City Clerk certified notice of <br />sau-4:~ . <br />Mayor Fauson was then reminded of the <br />amended agenda and that the resol -,1 i =:-n was <br />to bc~ discussed before the W-470 hearing. <br />Hornbostel presented a resolution which <br />read, "Whereas the City Council believes <br />in open government, and whereas the <br />ma jc~r i ty of the council was not notified <br />of the January 27 meeting in Broomfield <br />anal ciid not authorize the Mayor to take <br />action as a result of that meeting. Be it <br />resolved in order that our commitment to <br />open government be demonstrated that all <br />City Council members will be notified about <br />future meetings and events that may require <br />Council approval and that City policy will <br />be determined by a majority of t1rc~ ~~t,~urrr~i l <br />2 <br />
