Baysinger also introduced John Ott, Head Pro at Coal Creek Golf Course. MEMBERSHIP IN W-470 AUTHORITY - CONTINUED PUBLIC HEARING Mayor Fauson stated that council is looking at three options, staying in the W-470 and paying the $8,400, dropping out of the authority completely, or staying in the authority and deferring the payments until a later date or until council sees fit to do that. At some point in time I feel that council is going to have to bring this to a vote and we are going to have to let the people make this decision for us. I do not see that it can be done now because we do not know what the senate is doing. At this time Mayor Fauson reopened the public hearing. Dale Sievers, 1385 Caledonia Circle, asked that her comments be directed to Councilwoman Szymanski. She asked that Szymanski look back when she was running for election and the fact that she was not a visible candidate. Your campaign based on your platform and that was all the voters had to go on. Your platform was specific, you were for open honest government, you opposed the Hillandale Annexation and you also took a strong stand on the W-470 issue. You stated at the very least we should withdraw from the W-470. Now you are asked to fulfill your campaign promises. Do you think that the people that support W-470 voted for you? Please understand those who are lobbying so strongly in favor of W-470 were undoubtedly supporters of your opponent. Please fulfill your campaign promises. Celia Wilson, 2311 Cliffrose Lane, asks that Council withdraw from W-470 authority once again. It seems like everything has been said. I have no new facts to reveal, you have heard them all, now it is up to you to decide the course of action to take. I am here to appeal to your sense of re- 3
