adopting and approving National Container <br />Beverage Reuse and Recycling Act." <br />Mike Bogira gave a brief overview of the <br />proposal and asked City Council to support a <br />resalution regarding the National Container <br />Beverage Reuse and Recycling Act (H.R. 586). <br />Hornbostel moved and Howard seconded to adopt <br />Resolution #12, Series 1990, National <br />Container Beverage Reuse and Recycling Act. <br />By Roll Call Vote, Resolution #12, Series <br />1990 was adopted 5-0. <br />INFORMATION/DIRECTION - HARPER LAKE/LEON A. WURL WILDLIFE <br />SANCTUARY ADVISORY COMMITTEE <br />Pete Clemens, 954 W. Alder Street, stated the <br />citizens of Louisville, Colorado request <br />approval of a citizens committee to advise <br />City Council regarding the development and <br />management of the Harper Lake Leon Wurl <br />Wildlife Sanctuary. This committee would <br />serve as a representative voice and contrib- <br />uting body on behalf of the citizens of <br />Louisville, Colorado to ensure that the <br />wildlife sanctuary is properly developed and <br />managed in accordance with its original <br />designation as a wildlife sanctuary. <br />Council felt the concept was a wonderful <br />idea. Would like to see this happen <br />throughout the entire city. Would like to <br />see a citizens group formed for each of the <br />areas. Suggested that Mr. Clemens work with <br />Baysinger in setting up this type of concept <br />for each area and report back to Council. <br />Howard moved and Davidson seconded, to have <br />an advisory committee for one year and report <br />to Baysinger. By Roll Call Vote motion <br />passed 4-1 with Szymanski voting no. <br />DIRECTION - PUBLIC MEETINGS - W-470 <br />Phare asked Council for direction regarding <br />times, locations, etc. for W-470 public <br />meetings. <br />Mayor Fauson suggested that this be proposed <br />to a later date. Legislation is in section <br />at this time discussing W-470. <br />Hornbostel concurred with Mayor Fauson on <br />this proposal. <br />3 <br />
