Asti-Caranci stated the North St. Vrain Advisory Committee is seeking the support of municipalities by asking that they support the resolution which will designate the North St. Vrain Creek as a Wild and Scenic River. Mayor Fauson moved and Hornbostel seconded to adopt Resolution #16. Motion passed. DEDICATION PLAQUES - RECREATION CENTER, LIBRARY AND GOLF COURSE CLUBHOUSE Marschner gave a presentation on the plaques that have been put together for the Council's approval. Donations have been given to us from some of the contractors for some of the expenses of the plaques. On the plaques for the recreation and the library the contractors have been mentioned. After a lengthy discussion on what names need to be added and how to word the plaque it was suggested to add Bud Marschners name to each of the plaques. Sackett stated he would like to approve the plaques separately. Sackett moved and Carnival seconded to approve the Golf Course Plaque and that the plaque indicate the Council, same as the Library, to add the City Administrator - Terry Hundley and the Golf Course Association. By a show of hands motion was defeated 3-4. Mayor Fauson moved and Davidson seconded to approve the plaques as presented. Carnival moved and Mayor Fauson seconded to add an amendment to the motion to include Bud Marschners name under the City Administrator for the Golf Course and the Recreation Center. Sackett moved and Szymanski seconded that the 1988 Council be recognized for the Golf Course on the plaque and a suitable place be found for the plaque, whether on the building or not. By show of hands motion passed 4-3 which includes the two amendments by Carnival and Sackett.
