Williams stated there is a request for a <br />motion to reconsider this issue. I know <br />of no case law where a city council can <br />be held liable for faller to make a <br />motion. <br />Sackett rejoined the meeting <br />OTHER <br />Mohr informed Council that the library <br />has moved. <br />Sackett stated he rias had numerous <br />concerns that the city attorney is to <br />busy. Is there any way you can free up <br />your time and get back to phone calls <br />and help the city get more work done. <br />Williams stated he is going to basically <br />eliminate his private practice and that <br />will free up some of his time. <br />CITY ATTORNEY REPORT <br />Williams stated he planned on making <br />some phone calls and have information <br />concerning the interim for the water <br />attorney by Thursday to report to you. <br />I can then inform you on how to groceed <br />with the process of hiring the new <br />attorney. <br />Davidson moved and Hornbostel seconded <br />to authorize Williams to take over <br />whatever actions necessary concerning <br />the cases that Williamson has until <br />someone is hired. By Roll Call Vote <br />motion passed 4-3 with Mayor Fauson, <br />Carnival and Szymanski voting no. <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMN[ITTEE REPORTS <br />Howard thanked councilmembers, the <br />audience and staff for the help <br />concerning the economic development <br />conference that was held.
