acquisition. <br />Brand stated at the last meeting <br />you asked that a report be brought <br />back to you about the recycling <br />program at the July 3rd meeting, <br />since some of the same people are <br />going to be involved with the plans <br />for the park, we are asking that <br />you give us a little more time to <br />put all of the facts together. <br />Also presented to the Council was a <br />request for service form that the <br />city will be implementing. <br />Carnival stated that other cities <br />have a program called the EYES <br />Program. Every citizen <br />participates in this type of <br />program. Also letting the citizens <br />fill out the request forms is a <br />great idea. <br />Howard asked if a smaller form <br />could be put on the back of the <br />water bills when nothing else is on <br />it. <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />Davidson stated that regarding the <br />5 year CIP program, from my point <br />of view I do want you to think <br />there is any guarantee that plan <br />would be necessarily supported. I <br />am not saying that anything of the <br />plan would necessarily not be <br />supported. As a new Council person <br />I think we may want to take a new <br />look at it. <br />Hornbostel stated that Councilwoman <br />Szymanski and herself have set a <br />date for their ward meeting, July <br />30th. <br />Howard stated he would like to have <br />a view from Council about the <br />economic development and have <br />everyone get involved wit:i it. <br />Szymanski gave a brief overview of <br />what the Chamber of Commerce is <br />involved and what events are coming <br />
