Falacienski stated we <br />are near tonight concerning the <br />amendment of the bond issue that was <br />done in 1985. The purpose of the <br />amendment is to transfer the obligations <br />of: the bonds to a new company and to <br />make some minor amendments to the <br />principal payment schedule. <br />Mayor Fauson moved to set Ordinance <br />#1027 out for publication and hold the <br />final public hearing on July 17, 1990, <br />seconded by Carnival. Motion passed 7- <br />0. <br />DISCUSSIONjDIRECTION - OFFI~~E OF ENERGY CONSERVATION <br />Baysinger stated treat Boulder County is <br />working with surrounding counties and <br />communities in submitting a proposal for <br />a i:ecycling grant through the Office of <br />Energy Conservation. The estimated cost <br />of a city wide curbside r~cyclir~g <br />presgram is $60,000.00. If the grant is <br />funded, a maximum of $30,000.00 would be <br />appropriated. <br />Debbie Fife, Boulder County Public Works <br />Department. Fife stated they were faced <br />with a June 29th deadline far the grant. <br />We did meet with tree surrounding areas <br />to see how we should submit this <br />application. We did ask for seven <br />different programs when we submitted <br />this application.
