Davidson moved to accept alternate number two as <br />offered by Avista hospital to pay them the sum of <br />59,500 and disconnect the fire hydrant, seconded <br />by Howard. Motion Passed 4-2 with Carnival and <br />Szymanski voting no. <br />OTHER REGULAR BUSINESS ITEMS ARISING AFTER PREPARATION OF AGENDA <br />Mayor Fauson: When the new city administrator was hired council <br />did say that an evaluation would be done <br />periodically and we are at that period at this <br />time. Does council want to do an evaluation and <br />give the city administrator our opinion on were we <br />should be going. It was suggested to have this <br />done before the June 26th work session. <br />CITY ATTORNEY REPORT <br />NONE <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT <br /> Brand presented a survey that was done at the <br /> recreation center and the results of the survey. <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />Howard: The breakfast for the seniors did take place and <br /> was a great success. I also would like staff to <br /> look into our policy regarding volunteers. <br />Hornbostel: The Boulder Transportation Coalition met and it <br /> was the first policy meeting. We will meet again <br /> in September. <br />Davidson: The Boulder Consortium of Cities met last week and <br /> stated that Boulder County did hire their director <br /> and are taking the program over for DRCOG. Also <br /> Boulder County is doing a study regarding mountain <br /> lions and black bears. The city of Boulder is <br /> going to do a transportation study. There is also <br /> a County economic futures panel. House bill 90- <br /> 1175 was signed by the Governor. <br />Davidson: Asked if Council was going to get together with <br /> Scripps Howard. <br />Brand: Had not received all the complaints and <br />information to give to the TV company to respond <br />to. <br />Davidson: Colorado has impact block grants and can be used <br />for flood control for parks and trails. Last <br />year all the money was not awarded. Maybe we <br />should look .into submitting a proposal for some of <br />16 <br />
