Sackett: How are we coming with the cable company?
Brand: Will need to speak to each of the council members
and get all of the complaints you have received
from citizens. I have found that we do not have a
list of complaints or a file of complaints about
the cable company,
Sackett: Gave a report with regard to DRCOG and the RACK.
DRCOG will no longer be working with the RACK.
DRCOG will be recommending an increase of dues and
will be less than a 51,000 a year for us to stay
in DRCOG. Should I continue to represent us with
the RACK now that they are no longer funded by
DRCOG and if I do I think they will be asking us
for funding. I feel that the Finance Committee
needs to look and see if there is any type of
funding for' us to participate in the RACK.
Davidson: Thanked Pat Williams for serving the city as City
Attorney.
Also I had seen Jerry McElroy with the Town of
Superior and he had brought up the issue of
another sewer for the Town of Superior and was
denied. What I suggested to him, since the
agreement is still undefined on the water issue,
perhaps the original committee we had could get
together again and resolve these issues.
Mayor Fauson: Felt that we should do that and invite the entire
Town Council of Superior to do some preliminary
work and try to work out the details.
Hornbostel: Last Monday night Szymanski and I had our Ward
meeting and most of the concern was opposition to
the proposed shopping center on the corner of
McCaslin and South Boulder Road. Some other
concerns were maintenance of open space and parks,
they want to request a park between Continental
View and Mesa Point on the north side of South
Boulder Road, recycling, bike trails and reducing
the debt and paying off other debt. Also we have
received compliments with regard to our new
facilities.
Mayor Fauson: Had received more letters from the seniors
thanking the Council for the breakfast.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business Mayor Fauson moved to adjourn the
meeting, seconded by Davidson. Motion Passed
12
