for the Stump parcel. Sackett moved to approve the Right of Way Acquisition as described by Phare, seconded by Szymanski. AWARD BID - DRAINAGEWAY "B" - OUTFACE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT Phare: I would recommend that Council reconsider the memorandum of June 28th regarding the bid award for the outfall project. I recommend that we award the bid to Trainer Construction for the amount $413,113. Davidson moved to award the bid for Drainageway "B" Outfall for the base bid plus alternate A to Trainer Construction at their low bid of $413,113, with the authorization for the Mayor and City Clerk to sign contract documents on behalf of the city, seconded by Hornbostel. Motion Passed DISCUSSION/DIRECTION CONCERNING CITY ATTORNEY Mayor Fauson moved to accept the letter of resignation from Pat Williams; City Attorney, and to ask Griffiths and Tanoue to be the interim city attorney until Council gives direction on how to proceed, seconded by Szymanski. Motion Passed OTHER REGULAR BUSINESS ITEMS NONE CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT Brand: In Ward I the horseshoe pits at Keith Helart Park have been cleaned and have been put on the regular maintenance schedule effective July 27th. In Ward II a follow up memo to the Harper Lake members has been sent out. There are additional trees that need to be planted and some irrigation work that needs to be completed. Also a memo was sent to the staff today with regard to two workshops scheduled for next week on the 14th and 15th to help deal with upset citizens and communications. It will be held at the recre- ation center and any council member interested in attending is welcome to. There is a shortage of telephones at the recrea- tion center and we will be looking into that and I will be bringing that back to you. COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS 11
