come up is the Ponderosa Subdivision. There also
has been a call from a gentlemen with regard to
open space. All of these issues and other issues
that council might have will be discussed at the
August 13th work session.
There is a Rotary Club being started for Coal
Creek Rotary Club. Every six months the club will
be asking myself and Brian Rick to come in and
talk about our cities. This Thursday I will be
giving my talk to the club and all are welcomed to
attend.
COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS
Hornbostel: The Metro-Rail Committee will hold their first
meeting on the 20th of September.
Howard: I will be attending the Math, Science and
Technology Committee discussing the request for
proposal that the state has issued to the National
Science Foundation.
Davidson: Asked if Phare could look into the repair that was
has been done on Cherry Street and see what has
happened with it, it doesn't seem to have held up.
Also the irrigation ditch on this side of Heritage
Park that runs under Cherry Street and into the
new Springs development, they are running that
into a pipe. Is the pipe for the ditch too small?
I would like to have this looked at.
ADJOURNMENT:
With no further business Mayor Fauson moved to
adjourn, seconded by Howard.
7
