All in favor. <br />AWARD BID - CITY HALL REMODEL <br />Marschner: Pursuant to the direction of City Council, <br />Construction Services caused the architect on <br />city hall remodel to complete working draw- <br />ings and advertise for proposals from all <br />interested contractors. The apparent low bid <br />was submitted by Barba & Sons, of Broomfield. <br />The financial statement submitted by Barba & <br />Sons indicates the firm does have the finan- <br />cial capability to complete the proposed <br />work, as well as his present backlog. Council <br />should be aware this type of project budget <br />would normally contain a contingency of <br />approximately 10~ to cover unknowns uncovered <br />in the course of construction. <br />Carnival moved to Award the City Hall Remodel to Barba & Sons in <br />the amount of $129,994, seconded by Szymanski.
