Davison: What plans do you have to address the com-
plaints from the citizens? I had my cable
installed in January and called you in June
to bury my cable and it still has not been
done.
Griffin: Cable buries have been an ongoing problem of
ours. We have addressed that problem by
hiring four contractors everyday. We are
trying to play catch up with burying of
cables. I am concerned with the number of
complaints. We will come out within 24
hours to service your cable. Our service
calls are free of charge to our customers.
Coal Creek Ranch will be on line by October
15.
Davidson: We need to get these problems solved, but I
am not willing to go through a long process
to do this. I feel that it would be easier
if you fixed all of the complaints instead of
us having to look for another company. My understanding of
the franchise agreement has come from about
three readings of the agreement and a review
of the complaints that have been summarized.
If you would like me to answer your question,
I would happy to do that.
Carnival: I agree with Councilman Sackett and Council-
man Davidson with the ability to sit down
with the cable company and try to work
through these things. We selected Scripps
Howard as our franchise company. We need to
deal with the concerns that the citizens
have. If Mr. Griffin is committing to fix
all of the concerns then so be it, if not
then finding another company should be what
we should do.
Hornbostel: In my subdivision we continually have service
interrupted. I don't know where that problem
