Youth Advisory Board <br />Meeting Minutes <br />DATE <br />Page 3 of 3 <br />Liaison Jay Keany, with his official Comments, said that the members should attend <br />more SoBoRo meetings, boards and commissions meetings, and made suggestions of <br />what the members wanted South Boulder Road to be. Also, he told the members that <br />there will be a McCaslin Small Area Plan meeting to help visualize what McCaslin <br />should be like. Jay said that more people should go to the McCaslin Plan meetings and <br />such to give another opinion on what the future should hold. He said that there usually <br />is a small group of people who sway the political process, and something happens that <br />the whole community does not want as a whole. <br /> <br />Mandy said that each board, in March, is going to be putting down their Capital <br />Improvement Projects, and the board should participate and throw in their idea of the <br />new Aquatics Facility. <br /> <br />Discussion Items for Next Meeting <br />For the next meeting, Isabella said that they will further discuss the March volunteer <br />project and have the portfolio of designs for the Aquatic Facility. Mandy also asked them <br />what they wanted to do for the April volunteer project, which is usually considered an <br />open month in terms of volunteer projects.
