CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT
Griffiths: On behalf of myself and Tammy Tanoue, we
appreciate the opportunity to serve the City
Council of Louisville and the city staff. We have
enjoyed working with you.
CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT
Brand: We won't be able to bring back to you on the 4th
of December the results of Cable TV survey. Also
the Chamber of Commerce has a bus trip that is
going to the new airport site on Tuesday the 27th
if anyone would like to go. I had a call to from
Broomfield regarding a meeting to discuss airport
access and the MTDC plan. They are suggesting a
joint public meeting with Councils from
Broomfield, Louisville, Lafayette and Superior on
Monday, the November the 26th or Monday, December
the 3rd.
COMMITTEE REPORT
Hornbostel: Stated that on the back of the map that I have
given to you is a survey that our committee did
and you might want to look at. Also there is
another effect at Transportation in Boulder County
that is being made in regard to buses and the City
of Boulder is trying to get involved in some type
of studies with regard to improving routes. They
have also gotten RTD to sit down and work with
them in improving routes and they would like to
know if we would like to be involved.
Davidson: The purpose is to get better service from RTD in
Boulder County. The study will be done in the
City of Boulder whether we participate or not. If
we don't participate then RTD will put the bus
service where the City of Boulder wants it only.
Mayor Fauson: Stated that he had a request from the Boulder YMCA
to make a presentation to Council concerning child
care. They have the funding and personnel to do
that and what they are looking for is where to do
the child care. Also I have a letter from the
City of Glendale concerning the article in the
Colorado Business Magazine. Mayor Fauson stated
that the letter congratulates us on what a fine
job we were doing in Louisville.
Howard: Stated that several Council meeting ago I asked
the City Administrator to get me some information
on the new TNVC company.
11
