PUBLIC COMMENTS
NONE
Howard: I would like to have it noted that there is no
camera for tonight's meeting.
Mayor Fauson: The young lady that operates the equipment came in
ten or fifteen minutes ago and was looking for the
equipment. She said she would have to go to
Longmont to get the equipment and that she would
be late.
REGULAR BUSINESS
APPOINTMENTS - BOARDS/COMMISSIONS
Mayor Fauson: On some of the appointments we did not get enough
applicants and we will have to readvertise on
several of them.
Howard: Suggested that on the ones that we did not get
enough applicants for that we readvertise.
Mayor Fauson: Felt that we should readvertise for all of the
boards and commissions.
Howard moved to readvertise the appointments for the Boards and
Commissions, seconded by Hornbostel. All in favor.
PRESENTATION/REQUEST - CHRISTMAS TREE RECYCLING - CUB SCOUT PACK
#82
Baysinger: We have been approached by Cub Scout Pack #82 to
implement a Christmas tree mulching program.
Christmas trees would be collected at the
Louisville Recycling Drop-off Station after
Christmas. The trees would be run through the
tree chipping machine to make mulch for the
Louisville Parks. The Christmas tree mulching
program offers an excellent opportunity for
recycling, providing a community service for the
scouts and a cost effective means of obtaining
wood chips that are annually purchased.
Hornbostel: Felt this was a great idea and complimented Mrs.
Davidson and Pack #82 on this idea. There is a
flyer going out about this idea.
Howard moved to accept Item 5B, Cub Scout Pack #82 Christmas Tree
Mulching Program, seconded by Hornbostel. All in favor. Motion
passed.
Mayor Fauson presented a certificate of appreciation to Pack #82
on behalf of the Council.
2
