Davidson remarked that it was a fantastic fireworks display. He agreed with Mayer's comments. REGULAR BUSINESS PROCLAMATION - NATIONAL RECREATION AND PARKS MONTH - JULY 1995 Davidson read and presented the proclamation to Beth Hughes, 9 year old on the United States Gymnastics Federation team - Level 5, Sonja Holtman, 11 year old on the U.S.G.F. team - Level 6, Gretchen Holtman, 8 year old in her first year of competition on the U.S.G.F. team, Verdiate McCarther, 10 years old and on the U.S.GF. team since 1993, Lydia Songer, 13 year old competing in the optionals, Niffer Bilstaden, coach for the gymnastics team, Dick Arcola (freestyle swimming), Ron Legget (javelin throw), and Bob Rakes (basketball). Steve Baysinger, Parks & Recreation Director, stated that for the fifth anniversary of the Golf Course and Recreation Center there will be an open house at the Recreation Center on Monday, July 10, fi.om 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Tuesday will be the Outdoor Adventure Day from noon until 8:00 p.m.
