Mayer stated that, if item 3D, Approval to Amend Resolution No. 70, Series 1994 to Extend the <br />Duration of a Temporary Use for 60 Days, were to go beyond the extension period, he would like <br />some advance notice from staff before it is extended again. <br /> <br />Davidson called for any changes to the Consent Agenda. <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />Davidson moved that Council approve the Consent Agenda. Seconded by Levihn. He agreed with Mayer's comments. <br /> <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br /> <br />PROCLAMATION - NATIONAL RECREATION AND PARKS MONTH - JULY 1995 <br /> <br />Davidson read and presented the proclamation to Beth Hughes, 9 year old on the United States <br />Gymnastics Federation team - Level 5, Sonja Holtman, 11 year old on the U.S.G.F. team - Level 6, <br />Gretchen Holtman, 8 year old in her first year of competition on the U.S.G.F. team, Verdiate <br />McCarther, 10 years old and on the U.S.GF. team since 1993, Lydia Songer, 13 year old competing <br />in the optionals, Niffer Bilstaden, coach for the gymnastics team, Dick Arcola (freestyle swimming), <br />Ron Legget (javelin throw), and Bob Rakes (basketball). <br /> <br />Steve Baysinger, Parks & Recreation Director, stated that for the fifth anniversary of the Golf Course <br />and Recreation Center there will be an open house at the Recreation Center on Monday, July 10, <br />fi.om 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Tuesday will be the Outdoor Adventure Day from noon until 8:00 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />
