Keany moved that Council approve Resolution No. 31, Series 1995, Final PUD Development Plan <br />of Centennial Valley, Parcel H, Lot 3, Homestead Village with the amendments that are listed in the <br />resolution, plus additional amendments to the PUD relating to no more than two non-related persons <br />in any one room and relocate the three trees out of the gas easements. Seconded by Levihn. Roll call <br />was taken. Motion failed 3 - 4 with Davidson, Howard, Sisk, and Mayer voting against. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 40, SERIES 1995 - APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE FINAL <br />PUD DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR HUNTER'S RIDGE <br /> <br />Paul Wood, Planning Director, stated that the applicant was requesting an amendment to Tract I of <br />the Hunter's Ridge PUD to do an outside 20' x 40' swimming pool and carports with a pitched roof <br />covering 48 parking spaces. The pool would be screened with evergreen trees. There would be no <br />net loss of landscaping. The Police Department asked for security lighting in the carports. There <br />would be no spillage of lighting. The applicant had met all of the Planning Commission's conditions <br />of approval. On site parking spaces had been decreased to 91, as opposed to 93, due to grading and <br />drainage concerns on the southeast corner. <br /> <br />Davidson called for the applicant's presentation. <br /> <br />David Suitts, 76 Cherryvale Road, Boulder, Colorado, reviewed the history of the project. He stated <br />that there are 24 two bedroom and 24 one bedroom units, with the buildings being 90% complete. <br />One unit sold for $90,000 and was only 890 s.f. The units will have their own homeowner's <br />association. The bottom units will be fairly handicap adaptable. It is a security building with buzzer <br />entry. The swimming pool will have no lighting, so swimming will only be in daytime hours. <br /> <br />Davidson called for Council comments and questions. <br /> <br />Davidson asked the price range of the units. <br /> <br />Suitts stated that the one bedrooms start from the high $50's to $70,000 and the two bedrooms start <br />from the low $70's to a high of $90,000. Basically, $100/s.f. as in custom homes. <br /> <br />Sisk was concerned that the units are already being advertised and sold as having carports and a <br />swimming pool which have not been approved yet. He asked to whom the pool would be open to. <br /> <br />Suitts stated that it would be open to the condominiums and possibly in the future, the apartments <br />or the townhomes if they wanted to participate. <br /> <br />Sisk wanted bathrooms and showers available at the pool. <br /> <br />Davidson liked the affordable housing in Louisville. <br /> <br /> <br />
