AUTHORIZATION TO BID PORTABLE PARTITION FOR RECREATION <br /> CENTER <br />AUTHORIZATION TO BID COAL CREEK TRAIL SOFT SURFACE TRAIL <br />APPROVAL OF ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT FOR <br /> LOUISVILLE LATERAL RELOCATION - QUANTUM PROJECT <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br /> <br />John Mayhoffer, 10164 Empire Drive, Louisville, Colorado, President of the Goodhue Ditch <br />Company, urged Council to adopt a policy that any ditch going through Louisville that comes under <br />any PUD, that the developers should line those ditches with concrete and authorize the ditch company <br />to remove trees from its right-of-way. <br /> <br />Davidson liked the idea and referred it to Paul Wood, Planning Director, for future developments. <br /> <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS <br /> NOT ON THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Davidson stated that the Finance Committee met on Monday and they discussed the City's <br />commitment to the Capital Improvements funding of the new high school in the amount of $400,000. <br />As far as how the $400,000 will be spent on school capital improvement programs, he had directed <br />staffto determine the cost of improving the 88th Street that would normally be the School District's <br />responsibility, with the idea that the City would use the $400,000 to make those improvements. The <br />data would be available by the next Council meeting. Also, Davidson had received a letter from the <br />U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development congratulating Louisville's Housing Authority <br />for having been designated a high performer. He congratulated the Louisville Housing Authority for <br />a job well done. <br /> <br />Sisk thanked the Parks & Recreation Department for replacing all of the trees that had died in the past <br />year. <br /> <br />Lathrop stated that with the heavy rains this year and all of the flooded basements and homes, it was <br />time for everyone to take measures to correct the problems around their homes to protect themselves. <br /> <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1195, SERIES 1995 - AMENDING TITLE 17 OF THE LOUISVILLE <br />MUNICIPAL CODE TO ESTABLISH AN OLD TOWN OVERLAY ZONE DISTRICT, TO <br />AMEND THE ZONING DISTRICT MAP OF THE CITY, TO PROVIDE FOR <br />ADDITIONAL DEFINITIONS, TO AMEND THE NONCONFORMING USE PROVISIONS <br />AND TO MAKE OTHER AMENDMENTS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH - 2ND <br />READING - PUBLIC HEARING (PUBL.
